2TGEU alternator bracket, no longer needed! Thu, 29 January 2004 05:08 Go to next message
as the title says.
The engine is a later model 2TGEU - not a 2TG with added EFI
I'm not sure if there is a difference.

I found the alternator bracket has snapped between the two bolts that hold it to the engine block.

I need a replacement asap please guys. At present its being held on by the smaller of the two bolts and rattles like you know what.

Much appreciated Juzzo, but unless you can drop it off at mine within 2 days.. I will have to go local. i can't really keep driving around as the car is.
Might just weld it back together.
