How much should a 3SGE rebuild cost? have anyone done it before? the shop charge me $2500. What do you guys think?

Thats probably a pretty good price for a 3SGE rebuild, does that include labour or is that extra, cause if it's extra then no probably not. Had a friend who got a performance rebuilt 3SGE gen2 for $4000 including labour to drop it in, thats the only indication I got sorry.
Question is that a full rebuild or just a bottom end rebuild?

Just for comparison, I did a rebuild myself and it totalled up to about $1800 (I had to get some people to do some work for me afterwards tho). That included head work, bottom end and fuel injection stuffs. It'd be cheaper if you don't **** things up like I did too
