suspension problem Wed, 11 February 2004 03:29 Go to next message
If I make a 90 degree left turnat around 5-60 and heard a "dump" sound on the front right end of the car... does that mean the shock is dead? or strut/spring/bushing?

but do I really have to change all these? how would I know if the spring and balljoints is dead? (btw: I though spring should last a lot longer than the shock..)

go get a pedders 28 point suspension check or just take it to a suspension place and they should be able to tell you whats wroung with it.

your springs can "sag" just from being old or getting a workout (sideways/ giving it sitck around coroners)

and same goes for your shocks

id get it checked out by a pro before changing anyhting

hope that helps Razz

Warning: a 28 point safety check is likely to find 28 or more faults with your car. Charging $15 for this check is a great way for them to convince you to spend $500 fixing problems that aren't that bad.
