AE86 door handles

Does anyone know how do disconnect the door handle ro on the inside of the door. The lock rods come undone easliy but the door handles are a pain. Any help.
Do any other door handles fit. ie ae82. One of mine is sort of broke.

i had SV21 door handles on mine. theres three bolts on the insode of the door (from memory) which hold the handle on.

Thanks. I have the bolts undone its the little plastic clip that attaches to the rod. the locking one just comes off but the handle has a flare on the end of the rod. I might just have to hack it but i dont really want to

Yeah, it's hard to explain, but easy to do with a screwdriver. Just look at it carefully with a torch, you should be able to see where it separates, then gently separate.
