Not too sure about how they measure what is legal rim size or not.
Unless u get to something totally oversized like a 20-inch I tihnk it is all pointless anyway. If someone wants more alloy than rubber, but the overall dimentions are the same.. whats the diff.
Well I heard that you are alowed to deviate to 2 inches from standard....not sure if it is true
but if it is, I thik the Sprinter standard is 13-inch...
So according to this and law if that is true... not legal.
But I'll be happy to delete this whole post if I am wrong.... if someone buys me some McDonalds!!!!

well these wheels were on for a long time with no cop trouble
i guess the argument is that the car should have come with 15's so 17's arent that big
lots of cops dont know their cars that well
you get an extra 30mm of width each side with these rims which is a fair bit but i never had a prob
i guess if you drive like a toss all the time cops will just try and get you on what they can

Well apparently u boys can hold a conversation all on ur lonesome....no need for my input...
Since i drove the car the most with those rims on it and i never had any trouble i guess u will be fine.
Technically the rims arent legal...but they dont have to be engineered. As has been previously stated by the ever gracious P00lsh4rk, if u drive like a toss then the police will bitch and find anything.
Im negotiable on the price as they need to go.
Thanx

Hey! I have 16's on them now which are pretty good. ROH, 5 spokes with avon zz3's as rubber. Actually the rims were bought off audioslave many many moons ago
Im happy with them, i definately wouldnt go any bigger then 16's with the sprinter the 17's scrubbed badly plus they were heavy as!

go the 14's...!
and just to clear something up, the law is that the rolling diameter cant exceed 15mm greater than that of original, mainly for speedo acuracy and abs issues etc.
but u can go as big as u want in rim diameter as long as u get a skinny enough tire to keep the same rolling diameter...
