the tractionnis too great - you either have to slip the clutch , or dump it - either way youll warm up the clutch till it smells - or break something ..
GT4's launch faster on gravel or on wet roads , then they do on tarmac , because they have a chance to break traction ..
oce it has traction though - its off like a rocket ..
Ask the boys whove been with me for some fun launches ..

I still think you just need to get a clutch that you can slip. If that's at all possible. Or you need more torque.

i think ill have enough power with 180rwkw
low 13's to 13 flat will be enough for a while.
what about dumping the clutch?

well i know im hard learning how to do it in the gt4 - its either MMM smelly clutch! or fuck do i risk breaking something ..
traction on a GT4 is the killer - there is no slip at all
dumping as in stalling it up to 5K and sidestepping the clutch - wewll that just invites snapping numerous very expensive parts !
Id love to know how the WRX/evo ish owners get away with it
maybe i just ask for the launchpad to be doused with water - THEN id be right
Shakra - you felt what it was like on loose gravel launch - its BOOm - traction And got to smell the after - effects

WRX owners don't, hence the reputation for mincing gearboxes. As for the EVO boxes, they are just tough.

How to launch a Evo/VR4:
Rev motor to about 5500, at same time lift foot right off Clutch and Mash the accelerator to the floor.
Such are the jobs of having a Gearbox that can handle 500+hp bone stock, although our transfer cases spit the dummy after a while, but can be strengthened either by welding or replacing with better spider gears.
I launch my AW11 the same way, just at much lower rpm.

it could fit - if you want to mortgage your house, or your soul to the devil..
youd need a custom chassis setup to take it + youd have to widen the ta22
3sgte fots in RWD form - but youd need to swap the gearbox , and diff to cope with the power + upgrade the brakes ..
Ask cool1 what hsi has cost him so far to swap a gen3 group A motor in RWD format into his ta22 ..
