TA/RA23 pitman arm same as TA22?

Does anyone know if the pitman arm on the TA and RA23 is the same as whats on the TA22?
I went looking for a pitman arm today for the girlfriends 75 TA22 but no one has them listed, but they have the TA/RA23 listed.
Any ideas? Thanks

Different yes! easy to get no!, it appears that some one somewhere way back when, assumed they were the same, and even then gave them different part numbers for the same article. Go Figure! I tried Repco and Rare Spares, and got RA23 ones when I had ordered TA22 articles. Eventually got em from a suspension shop, not cheap!

I was just about to order a PowerMax pitman arm and idler arm for my TA22. Hopefully they will be the correct items. It is really annoying that parts nlist never seem to get corrected. I tried to order an ignition barrel from NICE last year and got an RA23 one. And just yesterday the discovered OEX starter motor listing is completly wrong for the COrdia turbo. Surely is would be in the retailers interest to get these problems fixed.

I have the Powermax one for an RA23 in a box at home. Do you want me to find out the part number of that so at least you know if they are trying to order the wrong one for you? BTW, it came from Autopro here in WA.

Give Peps a call, they have managed to get suspension parts for my 28 and my brothers Mk1 Escort that we chased all over sydney for.
If not try some of the suspension shops, quite often they manufacture/import their own stuff.

Cool 1,
As requested.
Powermax part numbers:
SX5241 is the pitman arm for an RA23/28
SX1141 in the idler arm.
TE489L in the outer tie rod end
TE490R is the inner t. r. e.
