thanks ILUSZN.. off topic, but do you own the gsr with those plates?

price is now firm but if someone is to give me a serious offer close to 7 after looking at the car, i may consider it. i may sell the car for 6500 w/o the recaro seat depending on whether my friend buys it.

points worth mentioning:
no lsd! stop asking.
2 holes in the bonnet from pins.
very minor rust in tailgate.
exterior has minor chips and pin-dents but was resprayed a few years ago so no fading.
spare legal muffler (the 5zigen item is loud).

Crying or Very Sad
The worlds got something against me, it really does.
Why cant you live in North Queensland shindeokure!
Because that sure looks like a damn sweet car.

I was always wondering what a Sprinter would look like in that Beige/Copperish colour, and it is indeed niice.

the colour is a slight variation of the standard beige.

i don't know what brand the wheels are, but they have a nice offset. no drift damage!

thanks Mr_Grumpy

sorry WANTED_AE86.. selling for less than the asking price would not justify my decision to let it go.

I would be interested in this car, but as i would take it back to SA to register it i would prolly prefer a standard seat if you still have one and just the stocker exhaust. How much would you want for it in that case? Also, does VicRoads refund rego?

Yes, VicRoads does refund rego.
Also shindeo if you do go this way and need a standard seat i will have one in my AE86.
Also i would be interested in the second set of wheels, and could pickup.

Hey Shindeokure, i can't seem to get through on your email.
Thanks for returning the call.
I would just like to know the usual stuff, how many kms the body/engine have
done, gearbox/diff condition, what the interior is like, some more photos
would be nice. The reason i was looking after the stock seat is because i
could use that extra $500 if you drop the price. Anyways, any info would be
much appreciated.

WHITCHY: sorry, no lsd. while we are on the subject, can anyone explain why both wheels lock up & spin at high revs? i thought the standard diff only spun one wheel?

loreak: yes vicroads does refund rego, but it isn't much, as registration is about $200, and the rest is tax and insurance. a standard seat can be arranged.

body has done roughly 255,000kms.
engine is unknown, purchased from gingernuts off these forums, runs fine, no smoke.
gearbox & diff are fine as far as i am aware of.. no noises
clutch (212mm) was changed in october along with the engine
a bit of rust in the tailgate (it's fine unless you're wanting to respray the car.. i can provide another one for $150).
very slight rust in the rear wheel arches.
tyres: 1 has heaps of tread, 2 have minimal tread, 1 is unroadworthy. i can replace them with another 3 good tyres if necessary.
selling the car as is, but a rwc can be arranged (at a slightly higher price of course).

i will try and get some photos, _Why_ has inspected the car so he should be able to tell you's any good/bad details.

i will be taking it to the hpi d1 nationals at calder park, 20/03/04 (not competing).. so that may be a good chance to look at it.

are u asking if they lock up at high revs when in a straight line?, e.g. rippin a burnout?
Cause if you arent turning and shifting weight to the left or right, then the diff doesnt have to tranfer the power to one wheel or another, it stays evenly distributed thus making both wheels spin. Thats my understanding n e way? someone correct me if im wrong!

still waiting on ur reply to my offer luu... Smile... if u can get rwc... i'll consider paying what ur asking as i'm getting really desperate for a car

open centres (non lsd) aka single spinner diffs act like lsd's when they are worn. They can spin both wheels but are unpredictable and therefore dangerous.

Single spinner diffs will LSD when loaded up ie revved and clutch dropped. They are VERY unpredictable unfortunately.

why were so many people surprised at calder park today when i told them my car was $7000? a dead stock 4age sprinter would cost you around 5k here in melbourne.. if you could find one!
anyway, i've decided to take off some parts (refer to the original post). the price is now $6000 FIRM (as is). don't bother calling if you're going to waste my time.

How much would you want for it + RWC and the 5zigen muffler?

I'm going to be heading out your way one night this week, would i be able to have a look?
