Make sure when you register you enter a valid email address, cause you will be sent an email to activate your account - until then you won't be able to post. If you don't activate it within 7 days, the account will be removed (not by me  - automatically).
If you use Hotmail or Yahoo make sure your account is active and is not full. I've already got an inbox full of mail error returns with activation notices...

when i click my link to register from my hotmail account it told me that it was an invlaid link but i was still able to log on and post messages. So, i guess it still works though it says it doesn't.

I know when you click on the activation URL it doesnt actually give you a message or anything to say that it's been activated, but I've never had it come up with an invalid URL before...
Anyway you've posted so all must be working ok.

It could be that the URL was too long and your mail program cut it up into multiple lines... But when it does that, it destroys the URL...
Try copying and pasting the entire URL from the multiple lines, not just clicking on it...

I had troubles with my hotmail account It came up with invalid URL, so I entered my other email and it's fine now.

i have being having problems for about a week! I just couldn't get the bloody activation email. but after days of clicking that damn resend button it actually sent. by the way. 'Bumapple' from the old forum is now known as 'Cam_RA40' on the new forum. now i've just gotta work out the avatar thingy
