The Km's would be the killer.... 315,000 km is a LOT of km's.. It could give a good indication of the body and interior as well..I don't think it is a typo.. I wouldn't want to pay much more than that..

Perhaps they have replaced the engine with a gerbil.

Even with those high ks... it should be worth about 2/3 of the price..

maybe like 5k for a quick sale..

Someone should buy it then.
Go take a look at it. Even if the engine is screwed, the exaust is missing and the suspension is bad you would be able to fix it up for easily less than the average one goes for.

Unless it's a typo or something.

Powered by a 5S-FE? I don't think so. Perhaps if we drop in a 3S-GTE or something... but it's still FWD.

Its not that cheap, i bought one 5 months ago for 2k with 195,000k's on it. It looks like the paint job is in similar condition to mine though....screwed Razz Although mine isn't a hatch and is a 1989 st184r Celica SX, has a non-leaking sunroof that slides properly as well.

Also one thing that is wrong with it, it is from south australia. They have odd road worthy requirements, quite often they can't be registered else where with out being repaired. Although things may have changed over there, but last i heard they hadn't changed much.

Mine needed:
Radiator
Power-steering, high pressure hose and pump
Heaterbox
Aircon
Lower control arm bushes (Eaten by steer fluid)
Clutch fluid cap (it had grown to twice the size Razz)
Gearbox repair or replacement
Rear engine mount (Common repair apparently)

I've spent 500 so far on it, sworn alot, wrasped my knuckles a bit... still got a few things to fix, but it drives well and still goes pretty good.

hehe adelaide doesn't have weird road worth req's - we have basically none. that is, you don't have to take your car to get inspected on registration, just pay the bill and get the sticker. does mean that a lot of bombs stay on the road, and don't get defected unless you drive like a wang
