HELP: A bit of a long shot, but ..... Tue, 16 March 2004 12:42 Go to next message
hey guys..

This is a bit of a long shot, but here goes..

I heard that there were a set of trueno guards at 'u pull it' in lonsdale. I was wondering if any of you guys seen it recently and know if it's still available..

The problem is that I am in melbourne, and can't make it there to check it out..

If they are still available and someone collects it for me, I'll make it worth your while with some $$..

thanks heaps.

"Hi, I heard that you might have a set of Toyota Trueno guards"

"Whats a Trueno?"

"umm.. its sorta like a Sprinter"

"Oh.. oh no we wouldnt have anything like that"

"ok, another long shot, would you have a front pulley for a Toyota 7M-GTE"

"What car does that come out of"

"Mach III Supras"

"oh no sorry, nothing like that"

if i were in that area i would go look anyways, them places don't generally know what stock they have, and will say no on things that are not the normal cos otherwise they would have to go look in the yard. the elizabeth u-pull-it is like that, cos it's so bloody big

I think it came from ra65 sleeka about december last year..

Didn't worry too much about it at the time, but now I gotta restore a trueno..

But that's alright anyways, I managed to find a very beat up pair for 20 bux! Smile..

Panel beater is changing me a few hundred to restore though Sad

haha

They had one out the back. but someone brought it before it went out into the yard. Seven of GAFFiO can you used a front pulley from a 7M-GE? cos there is a cressida there with a 7m-ge but the motor has had the head removed but there is parts of it all over the place.
