Mine is probably not old school. I reckon old school has to be at least 15 years old and probably at least two body shapes ago.

personally i define old school as any car made up to mid/late 80's...say 89...thats about 15yrs old
new school/hardcore began when they started putting more and more plastic on cars...so pretty much anything from 1990 onwards

I agree... Oldschool ended with chrome bumpers...
MA61 is hardcore! A tough beast, but I wouldn't call it oldschool (not quite yet!).
Though it is way sexier than my car

old school is chrome and metal
<--- such as that
classic adelaide rally now has a cut-off date of 1985 or something, rather than 15 years, so that it will always remain a metal event and not fibreglass

i usually think of oldschool as one of the first couple of shapes of a current model car.
such as the celica - ta22, ta23, ra23 and ra28 are all old school.
corolla - anything up to late 70s.. before the ke70's
(where the shape changed heaps) i think.
so then the mk 2 supras are oldschool even though they are early 80's.
but then some cars just dont have an oldschool section like the camry. they just didnt have the style.
thats what i think anyway

what if its close to 400Hp and weighs a little Bit ?
My ta22 was hardcore classic
Gt4 is modern , but not "oldschool " yet .. its bodystyle still looks current. Give it another 5 years and it might be different
