this is a damn serious question now, i have hacked at it, tried to unscrew it, even got big A$$ pliers and tried to break it off, but all with no luck!
anyone got any help on this dreaded stock gearknob???!!!

Every Toyota I've seen has a screw-on gear knob. They're usually fairly easy to get off, UNLESS some bastard previous owner glued it on at some point. If this is the case you probably won't be able to get if off without destroying it. Good luck!

If your car was ever in a car yard they probably used loc-tite so people do not steal them.

ok when i get some spare time there will be one of two cases happening
1)i will have gearknob off, but will not have it useable anymore Very Happy
2)i will have a broken hacksaw blade... Mad
