Im after a RA28 in melbourne. Condition doesnt matter as long as any rust is repairable. Prefer running but will consider one with a dead engine. Basically want it as a replacement car.

Oh, By the way, isnt it more worth getting a TA28 rather than a RA28??

Wouldn't this make your 2T-GEU conversion far easier??

Or is the R-Series engine driveline stronger and easily mated to a T series engine??

No such animal as the TA28. And to convert the RA28 to doods 2TGEU all thats needed any different is a set of TA22 engine mounts, and done.
