Bad luck is everywhere Sun, 28 March 2004 12:47 Go to next message
Well, this little sad tale is about my T18. A nice little car, with a big future. Body was in good nick with only a few problems but alas, it has come to a end.

I let my brothers girlfirend borrow my car to go get some things. She was about to do a right hand turn into our street, and the next thing she knows is the car is being spun around. It seems that a MG coupe, that was probably speeding has come up and totally T-boned my poor baby. The passanger side door and C-pillar have been crused in and even managed to brake the driver side seat due to the force that it was hit with.

The car is a total write off and it is just going to be parted out. The MG is also a write off, after receaving full front damage, though i didnt take much notise of it since i was mostly concerned with my baby.

All this means is that I had to get myself a new car and I happened to get lucky and found a nice RA28 sitting at a wreckers. Just need to get some new front pannels and lights for it and i can drive again.

Even some sad days can come out looking better in the end, as long as you dont worry about money.

Yeh, bad luck, and condolances, have already been expressed about the T-18 to you..

However, nice work on the RA-28, especially, if the engine switcharoo works out!

Already spoken to Hirogen about this dood - i know of a basically complete RA23 in ballarat that you should be able to get some of the parts off you want .. It also has a fantasic straight chromed bumper on it as well .. cant remeber but i think one fender was ordinary - the other was ok ..

PM me - or leave a note with your Bro - he has my ICQ
