ive tried to convince my friend to buy this, but he would rather get a datsun 1600

man if i hadnt just bought a sprinter, this car would be on its way to adelaide as we speak!

is the AE71 5 speed box a T50??
If not, how strong is it?
I assume the 20V has been converted to rwd by now, thats the only reason im interested in it and the box.
It would be going in my TA22. would i have any problems with the box considering the extra weight the ta22 carries over the ke25?
thanks

All PM's replied to.

Tommo,
I pulled the AE71 box from a TA22 that was 20V powered when i upgraded it to a supra box. Never had a prob with it in the 22.

I recently shipped up my yellow KE20 from Sydney to Brizzy with TNT Auto Logistics. Price was:

$411 for a full rego'd car
$511 for an unrego'd but still driveable car
$611 for something which had wheels but had to be pushed to move

Hope that helps - their service is fast and others seemed to charge more.

Oh, and despite saying that the car has to be unburdened, I managed to sneak a spare 3K motor in the boot and spare gearbox in the back seat. Very Happy

70 to 90 kW at the wheels depending on intake restriction, exhaust system and how much u lean on it.

All PM's replied to.

Fu'k I'm keen, too bad you're in Sydney. Given the 4A fitment what engine crossmember and gearbox crossmember is fitted?

Any body modifications?

How well does the engine go?
It does work right?

If it does consider it sold!
