Hey Guys
I was wondering if there was such a thing as NGK laser platinum Group 9 spark plugs that cost $30 bucks a plug?? and if so, would anyone bother paying that?

yeah mate there is such a thing, and yes they are VERY expencive. my ST162 needs them (little sticker says so on the right hand side of the valve cover. but the good news is you only have to replace them every 100000kms. but yeah they burn better. and there is a handy little booklet on them that explains them.

My Iridiums were $19 each, and I was under the impression that Iridiums were more expensive than Plantinums

iridiums are a bit cheaper.. better performance but don't last as long (about 60,000kms compared to 100,000?). i bought mine for $60 cos the guy was nice and gave me trade price

i put the new splitfire triple platinums in my 3sge mr2 for 26 bucks a plug and worked a treat! i found out about these because autosalon did a comparison b4 and after these plugs on a na alfa and the difference was 5kw @ the wheels. seems to rev smoother then before
