I just came back from seeing it too.
I definately enjoyed it, although it dit get a smigent repeative at one stage, if you see it you'll know what I mean. He changed things once too many for my liking. But a great ending, and Ashton Kucher (spelling?) really proved himself to be a more rounded actor.

that movie is awesome, its my current desktop wallpaper
i'm getting into a lot of "feel shit" movies- stuff like american history X, once were warriors, requiem for a dream, clockwork orange etc.
i have to say requiem for a dream is an awesome movie, one of the best ive ever seen, but by god it will make you feel like a dump when it's over. the music is awesome too...
ps. i thought you meant the band too

what was requiem for a dream about again? i remember always seeing it in the video shop and thinking about getting it, but i cant remember if i did.
and i ALSO thought you meant the band and thought you were reffering to their concert at Bizzo's on saturday night which i was VERY dissapointed that they sold out before i could get tickets, so i made sure i got tickets for their wollongong uni show nice and early. best band in OZ imo.

Yeah this is actually a great movie! Ashton really shows a bit of acting range this time.
If you where thinking about not seeing it 'cuz Austin Kutcher always plays that same role, then I advise you reconsider and go take a look.

saw it tonight
it's actually rated MA (or that's what the cinema said)
suffice to say that while tehre is very little gore actually shown, some parts of it are quite disturbing, and the rating is justified.
and on top of that, I'll say it's one of the most amazing movies I've ever seen - I loved it.

who is in once were warriors. I'm pretty sure I've seen it. If it is the mel gibson one, that is a great movie. Donnie Darko one of my fav movies.
And if you liked american history x you should also see the 25th hour (also with edward norton)

nope, Once were Warriors doesn't have Mel Gibson. Its a bunch of Kiwis.
Can't think of the lead male actor, but he was one of the pirates in Six Days, Seven Nights (on last night).

thats the american version...i think R might just be restricted not R18+ like we have.
I saw the movie on friday and it rocked...was one of the best ive seen in a long time...a little freaky but i liked the way it left me in thought mode afterwards. I thought Ashton wouldnt be able to pull off the serious role but he did well

I thought his/his moms celica kicked butt... absolutely awesome.
The movie was *good*, but not great...
partly cause the ideas behind it wasn't original. In fact, it was basically a 'simplistic, watered down' rehash of some sci fi concepts that's been around for decades. I guess it's to captivate a more mainstream audience (some people just hate scifi).
I did commend them on achieving this. All my not so scientific minded friends loved it...
definitely see it though. It's worth watching
rock on.

who's he marrying?
I always thought he was a tosser too - but I was pretty impressed with him in this movie - gives me hope that he may yet make a decent actor
my idea to wear the gimp mask - I saw it lying there, and couldn't resist. She was dressed like that to show off the dress (which she designed and made)
