Dark Blue
2.3 Litre
Factory TO3 Turbo
Rear Wheel Drive
Ford C3 Automatic
98,000 Miles
Power Windows
Power Mirrors
Factory Bodykit
Redline BOV
GFB Atomic Boost Controller
3" Dump-Back Exhaust
Running 13psi (11psi is stock on these cars)
K&N Style Pod Filter
Recently serviced, new Nolathane suspension bushes in front end, Cooling system flushed and all hoses replaced recently. Paint is overall in good condition with a few VERY minor blemishes
These cars have 150hp (Auto) and 175hp (Manual)... The only difference is the amount of boost the 2 are running... Autos run 11psi stock, and manuals run 15psi.
So, with the mods this car has (13psi, 3" exhaust, pod) i estimate it would have around 170hp @ engine.
Currently registered, but will sell Unregistered for $4500, or Registered + RWC for $5200
Will consider swap + cash for the right car

Yeah, this one was built in Cologne, Germany and shipped to America. It was then imported from America in 1991, and converted to RHD, so its been in the country for a while.
Its not a slow car by any means, even with the auto

Thanks for all the well-wishes guys... Its been for sale for a while, but i keep getting stuffed around by timewasters who organise a time to come and look at it etc so i take time off work or re-arrange my plans, and then they never show up. Its very, very frustrating.

Certainly is!
You can either go for a T9, which is the standard 5-speed that they came with in America, or you can put a T5 (Falcon 5-speed box) in it. I have a few pages that cover how to do this, tell you what you need, etc etc.
As for how it drives compared to my sprinter:
Its alot more 'cruisey', as in, with my sprinter it had no torque around town, and you had to really work to drive it in traffic (keep it in the power band etc) With this, its very easy to drive around town, alot less 'harsh' than my sprinter was as well. Its also very easy to go very fast if you're not paying attention

How hard are parts to get?
What kind of insurance costs?

4 Cylinder SOHC
Parts aren't that hard to get, there's a place in America that sells just about everything for them (http://www.batinc.net/merkur.htm), you just have to buy the parts overseas and wait the 4 or 5 days for the part to get here... not overly different from a jap import really.
Insurance i pay $590/year for 3rd Party/Fire/Theft with Just Cars, and i'm 20 with no rating.
