4agze, also it has a stronger block, and if u want to turbo later on, it will be much better since it already has forged internals.

GZE is cheaper by a long shot.
GZE would also be cheaper to turbo than a stock 4age.

i have done both and both make close to the same power for the same money,
either way you have to make a manafold, supply a turbo, oil lines, inejctors, ecu etc,
sure the GZE has more scope for more power but in a sreet car on under 15psi boost they will both be fine,
we turboed a 86kw import motor, with a td04l off a 98wrx, made 186rwhp on 11psi boost,
the GZE will cost a shit load more than a 86kw motor ever will, and you will need to spend more money to make the GZE turbo compatable (inlet manafold etc)

sprinter_steve, im currently in the middle of a conversion (from 4ac to turbocharging an ae101 gze motor) & im looking at around 4k through a workshop...if you are mechanically minded you could do it yourself and save more $$$
imo getting a gze is the way to go...as sprintr mentioned the gze has forged internals. the extra cost of the gze doesnt outweigh the benefits

that should give you most of the info you'll need...its best if you read and decide for yourself based upon what you want

When you go through a workshop, will most know how to the job with no problems?
Do you need an engineer ot something to provide a certificate afterwards?
As you can see, I'm very new to this knida thing. Thanks for everyone's patients.

I have another question. Let's say i got a $3K Sprinter so it wouldn't be in the best condition. Should I get a new paintjob on it, do the engine swap, replace tires, brakes, clutch etc or do the interior stuff(replacing seats, carpet etc). Which one should I do first?

the 4age 86kw turbo will cost less, the engine costs less, you dont have to change all the manafolds over, dont have to mees with power steering pumps and altinator brackets etc,
