kayot1k - here's a picture of the car from side on..
http://www.luc1d.net/other/snow_july_2002/images/DSCF0065.jpg

That was taken with two big blokes sitting in the back seat, as well as a bunch of luggage in the boot (on the way home from holidays).

The rear normally sits a bit higher than that.

Ozzie - No idea sorry dude.. If you post in Tech & Conversions someone may be able to give you an answer.. I'd probably lean towards it not being possible, but I couldn't say for certain.

-- edit --

btw - the wheels are 15". No idea if it's going to be too low if you've got 17's or something..

I'll put pics up when I get a chance next week. They're just the standard swaybars as fitted by factory - nothing out of the ordinary..

Do you know the diameter of the rear swaybar ?
Is it 14-15mm or larger ?

These are the standard swaybars. Not certain of diameter however I'll measure them when I get a chance and post it up.

Hey guys, thanks for the interest. kayot1k said he might give me a call to check them out on the weekend, so I guess he's got first dibs. If I don't hear anything by Sunday I'll let you both know. (toyrolla, I got your number, cheers!)

gti23q - In answer to your questions. I've put about 90,000kms on the car since I bought it 4 years ago, and they were already in there then. I don't know exactly when they were put in however the guy I bought it off said that he didn't do it.

As for the wheels, HELL no i ain't selling!! Very Happy

I bought them new from Toyota, they also come on some Sportivo Corollas and Echos. Shouldn't be too hard to buy a set new or second hand if you want them.

Haven't heard back from Kayotik, so springs are available again. First person who's got the cash gets them. Smile

Still have the swaybars as well.

Hey Craig, Selling the springs for $40 but they're probably going to toyrolla tonight. Couldn't really answer whether you're better off spending a bit more for new ones.. It's personal preference really. If you've just spent up on new shocks, then older springs may be a bit of a let-down..

Springs are now sold. Swaybars still available.

Scorpion, apologies as I didn't get around to measuring the diameter of the rear swaybar. I'll try and find time to do it this weekend.

No rush - only interested in rear and then if it is 18mm or greater. I suspect it'll be 14mm (std).
