im searching for a set of power windows for my ta22...
they seem to b hard to come accross... so im willing to settle for the power window mechanisms out of a ra44 as i should be able to modify them to fit... hopefully...
can neone help...

GT's had them standard and they were options on GTV's.
Anyway, if you can't find any TA22 window mechanisms (which I don't think you will) Simon has a great tech article on converting RA44 units for use in the first gen. Celicas.

The drivers, switches and wiring that I have came out of a TT142 Corona, and include both the front and rear sets. These are not a bolt in affair, it will require some modification. No, I've never bother to install them myself, but do have a friend who has done the conversion in a RA28 (obviously front windows only as the rears are fixed), to good effect. My only recommendation would be to wire the power up through relays - they seem to draw quite a bit!!! Will PM those of you who I've not already done so!
