My $400 ST 162 Sat, 01 May 2004 03:51 Go to next message
Hi everyone, here are some pics of the ST162 i just bought for $400, bit of a bargain, if i do say so myself. The more important detail are as follows
3SGE (blown up Sad )
5 speed manual
16" concept 5 wheels
superlow king springs all round
2.5" manrel bent exhaust system
extractors
6" polished cannon rear muffler
tinted windows
cruise control
power sunroof
all power options
http://enter-the-redzone.netfirms.com/celica.htm

Not bad for $400. Just got to get a motor and rego.

Whoever sold you that must be either stupid or bloody rich (lets hope they have no relation to you or I'm stuffed),I can see why the motor blew up. Its pretty neat, black looks good on a st162. you even scored some personalised plates (kinda).
I'm even felling a little jealous (for now). Confused

Definitely a bloody nice buy! If you are planning to keep it though, let's just hope the mechanicals aren't more of a headache than whoever you bought it off says they are.

The guy i got it from is friends with a mate of mine, i didn't even know the guy. I guess he just wanted it gone. It's got a blown engine and he has just bought a 180sx.

Yes ,but i wasn't asking is it an import i was asking what type of celica is it, SX or something else. It's the first celica i have ever owned and i know very little about them, so i want to find out as much as i can. That's all.

haha, sounds like you're in a similar position to me in terms of how much you know about celicas. i wasn't a toyota fan before i got my st162, so i don't know the first thing about it! but i'm learning hehe.

amazing looking car dude, even if the repairs go over the thousand dollar mark, you've still saved a shitload of money! great stuff!

Nice buy dude. Now, what u have to do is save up and buy a 3sgte and stick that in. With the money u saved from the cehap as car, gettin a Gt2 in awesome condition should cost up around what a half decent st162 would be. Do it!!!!
