hey all. a mate has a Toyota Hilux LSD for sale, its been reconditioned, ratio is 4.5, hes asking for $550 ono.

yeh complete diff dude, apparently they go for around the $800 mark at the wreckers.

depends what driving you do mate...if its a lot of racing/ hooning around then yeah it would...but if you like just driving around town, going onto the hway etc..its a bit short for you...
Sprinter- your mate doesnt have any other different crownwheel + pinions does he? im out for a 3.7-4.1 ratio.

CORRECTION: my mate told me today that it is in fact just the LSD centre, but he does have axles etc. if someones buys the LSD and wants to buy the rest of the rear end with it.
V8 MA61: ill ask him tommorrow and get back to you dude.

would this be ok in an 86 RT142 with IRS. it has an F series diff in it at the moment. I've been looking around for a diff out of a manual MA61 but this will do just fine if it fits.
