im lookimg at putting a different engine into a TA22 celica.
it already has the 2t single cam.
ive looked at the 3TGTE whick i know quite a bit about as ive had one before. so id rather go something different. and the 3SGTE i dont wanna know about.
what options do i have ?
1GGTE?
1GGZE?
4AGZE/GTE?
i dont wanna go bash holes in firewalls and having to relocate everything to get an engine to fit.
i have a fair bit of $$$ to play with and id like a fair amount of hp aswell.
any help would be good...and also if anyone knows of any articles on conversions into TA22's.
this has been covered at least twice in the past week
ta22 has a pretty small engine bay, so the 1g-gte will not be a pleasant fit.
4a-gz(t)e has been done before, and would be relatively easy, as well as having the potential to put out over 200rwkw (yes, I know the 3t can manage that as well)
