Hi, where is the bike? What sort of price to ship it to Adelaide? I'm looking for a first bike, looks nice. Do you know what insurance is like? Is it similar to those Honda CBR250R bikes, which are thousands of dollars to insure? Or is it not considered a race bike?

Shipping to adelaide I imagine would not be very expensive at all. I am about 80km north of Sydney.
I just had a car shipped from Brisbane to Sydney for $385 last week. I assume a bike would be less than half of that.
I have not had insurance on the bike, as I only take it out on the weekend for a ride on saturday or sunday. It is a nice bike, you can crusie in traffic or around town at 4000 - 5000 revs, or take it out on the open road and rev it out to the 14,000 RPM redline. The Tacho goes to 16,000 RPM, but I never take it over 13,000. This bike is comfortable to ride, and if you want it to, it will go very fast. I have no idea, but in 6th gear, I am assuming a top speed of 250km/h or more.
We can talk via PM if you like, and I'll get a quote for shipping for you. Alternatively, I'll make a short trip oput of it and ride it down to you.

craig: bikes like these are always stupidly expensive in shops. gpxs are a good cheap learner bike. one of my mates had one which he bought off another mate for his L/P period, sold it when he got off his Ps, never had a problem with it.
