has any one ever put one into an XT130 twin square head light corona. How hard would it be to put an 18rg into a TA-22 celica.

it will go into the corona ok ,would have to modify the sump to fit into the 22 a 2tg would be better in the 22 or 4age

what motor do you have in your xt130...i have a xt130 that had a shitfire motor in it...we installed a 18rc and it was straight foward...bolted straight in but had to use the front half of a celica tail shaft as the corona one was different length because gearbox was in a different position..also we just screwed a ra23 radiator in and rigged up a cable setup...apart from the it was straight foward...Unless you have the 5 door version which already has a 18rc in it...then its a straight swap pretty much...Dont bother with the 22 though....i reckon it would be to much hasle.

I had an 18R-G TA22, dodgy stuff. Are you trying to decide what to buy to put your 18R-G into? I'd be suggesting RT132 Corona, something different. Or RT81, not sure how straight forward this would be as standard motor isn't 18R but 12R.
