Hey All,
I was just wondering if anyone knows the difference between a 3T and a 3T-GTE engine apart from that the GTE is turbo, twin cam ect. I was wanting to know the difference in the actual size/fit of the engine. I have a 3T in my TA22 now and was wondering if the 3T-GTE will just fit straight in and replace the 3T? Or is the shape and size of the engines different?

The difference between the two is basically EVERYTHING, but the overall dimensions are the same and the block is almost identical. The 3T-GTE will fit straight in but there is a minor issue with the turbo-side engine mount. I'm sure the 3T-GTE gurus will fill you in shortly.

Thanx Norbie
That's what i wanted to know, if the dimensions were the same so that i could just drop the 3T-GTE engine in, allow room and stuff for the turbo ect.
If anyone can help with this mod please msg me as i need all the help that i can get
Thanx all

The 3TGTE you are buying has a modified turbo oil return line, and standard TA22 engine mounts, so it will bolt straight in!
