I voted drag because i like smoke.
And drift is a little boring unless the drivers are professionals, or complete hacks going too fast into corners and understeering into walls.
But if you have those two, them > *.

i voted rally. but he only thing i dont like is how these great drivers always get let down by their cars. it seems like that in each rally, at least one of them has some faliure in his car, and has to pull out.

I voted drag for 2 reasons - 1) Spectating - it's exciting; 55-60 different races per hour - you can walk away get food etc. 2) Competing - it's probably the most accessable form of motorsport.
It is NOT a motorsport that is built upon driver skill - it is about power to weight, and when you get enough power, then you will need skill and reflexes to match any motorsport.
Apart from dragging - I find them all very appealing and hard to place one ahead of the other - Speedway, rally, hill climb, V8 supercars, sport sedans, F1, GP bikes, superbikes etc etc.

Rally is a bit strange cause it's the only one where you can't see your competitors! It's just you and the road...
It's just a pity that some of the best rallying footage comes from the 80's and looks like it was filmed on video Those Group B monsters were awesome, I'll have to put up a short video of the Quattro S1 going nuts when I finally get broadband, because that is the most awesome sounding beast ever built.

Go rally any day it takes a shitload of skill, the teranin is always different, and there is alot more obsticals. there is just more everything then any other motor sport i would say!
then i would say drift, that takes some skill to a certain degree.
but rally any day of the week

Hmms unlikely - he lives in the adeliade hills for starters , not interstate ..
Theres about 3 other peranas entered each year, his will make 4 ..
As for a 351 tf cortina - would be interesting to see if they allow it .. Uusually its reserved for " special heritage " cars , unless this particuular cortimas going in the copmpeditive class as a " exception "

11.8 is a deadset cake walk on the right tyres - If you have seen 4.XX top fuel runs, then you will see that these guys really need to drive the cars and they are dead set frightening.
0-160km/h in under 0.9 sec this is by the 60' mark.

not just Japanese cars, they have ferraris, porsches, corvettes, mclarens, lambos etc. racing against tuned japanese cars. I haven't seen a full race yet only snipets and it looks awesome. Also, each race is fairly long so there is a hint of endurance to it as well. www.jgtc.net and there is an english option in the right hand corner.

ah ok, thought there were less of them kicking around than that.
but yeah, he had to get special permission for the tf. i can't remember the names of the categories but he's not going in the top category, he's going in the middle one. though that is by choice, i'm not sure if they were going to allow it into the top class.

Actually, that's only true now, a few years ago, the McLaren F1's were dominating, awesome car.
My money is on GT-P and to a lesser degree Nations Cup. I love watching rallying, but it just doesn't have the whole connection of two cars belting around a track door to door, drivers outwitting each other at each turn.

i voted dragsm cause it rocks, it is by far the most accessible sport, even a 22 second S-Cargo van competed at the drag combat,
not many crashes to fuck your car but when they do happen they are spectacular, but not good when u r part of the team {RIP Pontiac }
go to the drags next time the fuellers and doorslammers are on and see how u like a 4.7 second pass at 320mph
or a peripherally ported twin turbo 20b at 10,000rpm
or a 511ci blown hemi at 9900rpm
[quote]
It would have to be rally. The most variety

how the hell does rally have the most variety, hmmmm, 10 evo's, 10 WRX's and a few hyundais, skodas, and peugeots
