Hello guys.
I had a tragic accident with my 21R-C engine. It kinda died
What i wonder i wich engine i can replace it with, more than the 21R-C. I like it to fit without changes.
Someone told me that i could take a 22R-E from a Hilux or any other with that engine.
Excuse my bad english, im a swede

Check the Engine Swap Guide in the Articles section of this site.
My recommendation would probably be an 18R-G. Assuming that you can't get 1G-GTEs over there.

So long as you can afford a 1G, the 21R dying is a BLESSING

Another question. How is it with the EFI on the 22r-e when i have carb on the 21r-c?

The 22R-E is not considered a 'performance' engine therefore you will not see anything written up on its instalation.
If you don't have a thriving japanese second hand engine import market in your country, chances are you will never see a 1G-GTE.
This engine was found in the GZ20 Soarer and GA70 Supra, mid to late 80's.
Going fuel injected as opposed to carbs means either a surge tank and twin fuel pump set up or installing the entire fuel tank and pump set-up from a RA65 Celica, which has the 22R-E engine.....at least it did in Australia.
Easier still is an 18RG engine, but they are getting very hard to find these days.
Mitch.

That's 'coz only one engine out of each family is included. The 18R-G represents the R-series engines because it's the best of the lot.

1G-GTE came in Japanese Soarers (GZ20) and Supras (GA70) in the late 80's and early 90's.

Grab an RA65 fuel tank and run new fuel lines.

Wrong imho. The reason you wont find many write-ups on installation is because its a direct bloody swap. Same mounts, same bellhousing. The 21R is a small bore version of the 22RE! Minor things like fuel tank, high pressure fuel lines from tank, etc. But just swap em from the RA65. Too easy.
But yes, the 21R-C dying is a blessing in disguise

Did someone say "flame war"?!
Let me reitterate. 87 kW from 2.4L is not a perfomance engine.
These are performance engines that will fit (some easier than others):
N/A:
18R-G 114kW from 2.0L
3S-GE (BEAMS II) 157kW from 2.0L
1UZ-FE 194kW from 4.0L (but with HUGE potential)
Turbo:
1G-GTE 157kW from 2.0L
3S-GTE 164kW from 2.0L
