 TA23 Chrome Strips

Just a quick question
Whats the best way to re-attach the chrome strips that go around the front and rear windscreens, it has had new seals put in and i dont have the little clips that normally hold them in place.
Any suggestions or glue materials that others have used would be appreciated.

best way to re-attach - use the clips. sorry.
you could try butyl-mastik which is the black shit glue that goes around the seals, but i can't guarantee that the things won't come off.
the dude who put the screens in should have told you this - the dude who put my front screen in this arvo had a heap of the clips!!!

guys - on the note of resealing/replacing front windscreens.... HOW MUCH?
Last vaigue price i heard for an RA23/28 was around $400!
Also ahs anyone ever priced up resealing the rear window on a 28?

karl, i just had mine done two days ago
brand new rubbers front = 85 rear = 85
supply new screen and fit (and remove old one without breaking it) was 150
to fit the remove and refit the rear screen was 70
|
