Clerk Of Course Missing Following Accident

Harbour City Rally and Rally of Melbourne Clerk of Course, Glenn Cuthbert, is missing following a boating accident on Lake Eildon north-east of Melbourne.
The following report was filed by ABC News late yesterday afternoon.
"A man is dead and another is missing after a boating mishap at Lake Eildon, north-east of Melbourne.
The Lake Eildon incident happened just before 1:00pm AEST.
Two men were thrown from a speedboat, and witnesses raised the alarm as the men disappeared and their boat ran aground.
It is believed relatives on a nearby house boat may also have seen the accident.
Water police soon located the body of one of the men, aged 57.
Senior Constable Brett Tanian says an extensive search is underway for the other man aged in his forties. "We're always hopeful but as it wears on our hopes do diminish," he said."

CAMS, ARCom and Rally of Melbourne officials are currently awaiting further information from police. Officials are also investigating every possible option for the staging of the Rally of Melbourne, scheduled for the weekend of the 20th-22nd September, with an official statement to be issued shortly.

I haven't met the man, but having seen how much time these guys devote to the sport that they love, it's a huge shame to lose someone like that.. Best wishes for his family and friends...
