hey,
i have a celica 5 speed that i had for a spare when i had my celica i have now sold the car so have no use for it
make an offer as it is taking up room in my shed
im in adelaide so i think it would be a bit to hard to COD

look i'm not sure as i posted that for a mate(i know he needs one and i'm not sure what he would pay) but well $35 (cos if thats more then he has at the mo i'll buy the damn thing for him.

it's still up for sale as it wasn't the one that inferno was looking for
it is in great condition and it was bolted to an 18rg... i think it is a w56 or w68 not to sure inferno seems to think that it is posibily a w50 who knows

NO, the W50 will not bolt up to the 2t, it bolts up to the 2 litre motors 18r series.
I have a celica gear box here to suit a 2t it need some work but if you can pick it ip i will give it to you for $20.

You seem to not know too much about the box itself so how can you be sure it is in good condition and works well? if it was behind an 18RG more chance of it being more thrashed as the RG is a twin-cam and revs a lot higher than an 18Rc. If it was behind an 18RG for some years it could be a bit hammered, so what is going to persuade someone to want it, without good background info/knowledge of its use?
It could have seized and need a reco/rebuild.
Ill possibly buy it if its still around in a months time.

hey,
well i brought the car off a grandma that got hit in it and sold it as a wreak.
i pulled the motor, gearbox, interior and some other stuff out of it and had the body taken away.
it was still driveable and the gearbox had no noises at all and went through the gear quite nicely.
i just can't read the number on the box properly and it was bolted to a single cam motor that i sold to someone that wanted it as a houseboat motor
IT IS STILL 4 SALE

I'll come over to adelaide (from melbourne) and pick it up...
As a W50 it should fit a Corona 18R-C .. will i need anything to do mounting etc ?
