my first car was giving to me a ford meteor station wagon.
i could drive for ages without filling up......many great memories...went to mount canobilos in orange at 2 in the morning with a few friends, decided to drive up the mountain, not realising that there would be ice on the road! got half way up and suddenly we are sliding BACKWARDS!!!!!! so out we all got to hold the car on the road......while looking at the steep cliff to our left!!!! luckily for me there was 4wd there and they towed us back down
ended up rolling it at a round about at 8am about a year later
I"M ALIGHT!!!!!!
sold it for spare parts and got a 69 Corona.............
man I loved that car.........

The first car I bought was a $400 TA23 Celica, I still have it sitting around, awaiting a 2T-GEU transplant and various amounts of bodywork that I'm sort of putting off until summer I guess It was a serious handful because the steering was fuxed.
The first car I ever drove was an 87 KE Laser...of course, it sucked badly, had no power, but I learnt alot from it none the less. Later got an 89 KE Laser that I subsequently wrote off...

1982 HiLux 2WD with a mighty clunky 18R. Bloody chain dampeners in them suck.
Stage 2 - HiLux got fitted with 18R GEU controlled by D3 microtech, W50 5 speed, 15 x 7 steelies and Dunlop LeMans A4. Went well - 200Km/H no worries, a little long winded to get teh last 15Km/H out of it.
Oh it was beige (boring as bat shit colour).

93 VP Series 2 Berlina fully optional was my first car, damn nice family car, had it for 3 months before i put a ford transit van through a fence with it, in some ways i want it back but i sort of wish it wasn't my first car, as have since relised that most commodore drivers are blooming shocking and i don't want to become one of them, then i had a 82 929 coupe, lasted 2 months before i killed it, now i have the supra and love it to bits.

My first car was a mint '78 UC Torana with less than 50,000k's, given to me by my grandparents when they gave up driving (and they'd had it since new!!!)
Regretfully sold it when I moved to the city since I couldn't afford the weekly fuel bill. Bought an AE92 Seca & instantly saved myself $50 a week.
Though I still miss the old girl Even if she was a little thirsty...

RA23 in white with good ol 18R-C and 5 speed, with riculously hard shocks (Monroe GT30 from memory) in the rear.
Paid $5000 (I think) back in 1985, and kept it for 7 years and did about 200,000 hard kays and numerous mods.

First car was a 1972 TA22. Got it for free from a friend of my mum's, came with 2 spare engines, and the car was full of spares.
Sold it for $250 because I was still in school and nothing was happening with it, it sat outside rusting away. *very angry with himself now!! :X*
First car that was driveable, a 1981 TF Ford Cortina, 2 litre. Was a fun little car, but as mentioned previously, they were like driving a freaking container ship down the freeway!

1948 Morris 8 Sedan...was ugly beige but I painted it British Racing Green with black wheels..17 inch by about 4 and half..
848cc of raging side valve power.. 1 and quarter inch SU carbie..2 inch copper exhaust and a tiny hot dog muffler -wooden floor panels...cable brakes on the rear.hydraulic on the front..4 speed manual...wind out front windscreen I got it as a rusty unregistered wreck for just about free from a neighbour of my folks and just bogged it up..Boy was he pissed when he saw it registered and running again .Drove it for about 18 mths(6 of which I did not have a licence..tut tut )..was bullet proof..5 people and all there gear plus 5 surf boards and down/up the coast every Friday night for the week end....Rust claimed my baby in the end..and it went to the scrappy.Got a photo somewhere...you have made me all nostalgic now..

Then a 1976 celica, a brand new RA60, an Alfa 33, a shit load of holden company cars, three pajeros (still have one) and at last an MA61

1974 TA22 Celica, yellow with a tan vinyl roof (dealer fit) bought for me by my parents. It had the lightweight Cosmic mag wheels, Boge heavy duty oil shocks in the rear with std springs, and Lovells lowered Ford Escort front springs with the standard shocks.
Drove it all over the State chasing work and did about 100 000kms in 3 years. Sold it for $250 more than we bought it for.

well..... my first car that was ever really mine and only mine was a VL Turbo. It was auto and got it in that cream color. After 2weeks of owning it i made her yellow. It was only an auto but damn it was fun. It sat on 17inch wheels with cut springs and rubbed harder then a fat mans balls chaffing against his leg. oh the countless times of her breaking down. the countless times being asked for lifts from people at schools. the countless times of near death experiences. ill always miss her but in a way im glad shes gone.

My first car was a Swift... Got written off due to a T bone incident where I had a car that pulled out infront of me... Needless to say that Swift brakes are nothing to be proud of...
Next car was a SX Rolla Hatch - the red one... Rebuilt motor and some minor suspension work, exhaust and rims... Still have it and still working on it...
Next car is another SX Rolla - the orange one... Bodykit, rims,m exhaust, paintwork, custom details all over the car, major suspension work with more to come soon and lots more mods on the planned list...

First car was a datsun 1200 Coupe. It was red so went faster than a normal coupe!
Blew up 3 gearboxes, a diff, and got defected for smoke so replaced the engine. Did me great service whilst I was going to Uni - copped an absolue hiding but was so easy to repair - and no part cost me more than $50, whether it was engine, gearbox or diff. From this car I learned how great jap cars were - just like a big meccano set and everything in lovely metric!
It's still getting around the place with a 1400cc engine in it now.

ae71 metallic blue with blue velour interior corolla 3 speed auto 4a-c
it copped tints zorst and some alloys and some colour coating
thing was written off about 3 time with the third time her not being worth buying back
still gr8 memories in her like sitting next to evl-131 revving 7krpm+ doing 180kph+ or watching an associate get her soooo crossed up out at wetherall park in the fuel it was beyond funny )))))))
btw fyi those who comment about the car being written off 3 times and its style of being driven......not a single accident was deemed at fault for me in her
rear ended twice and stolen and planted into a pole the third time

was affectionately known as the tank.

AE82 seca, the "red rocket". Went like a piece of crap on wheels and handled like a dog on lino (cheap tires), but was cheap to run, and had an embarrasingly loud exhaust. Killed most engine/gearbox parts doing pizza delivery. Sold it when I got a full-time job, to a guy who finally did what I couldn't (killed it).

First car 1980 Holden Gemini, bog stock standard. drove it for 2 1/2 years. the previous owner was a scuba diver who used to chuck all his wet gear in the boot and leave it there hence no floor, was picked up for a bargin and sheet steel floor welded in good as for a first car.
Sold that (after I finally cooked the engine in the middle of nowhere)
2nd car - RA40 Celica
The rest is history...(only because I couldn't afford a MkIII supra.)
