Ippy to Toowoomba Cruise

I am proposing a cruise up to toowoomba from ipswich. We can meet up on the warrego highway BP, and cruise up the range in the nice cool air and have a BBQ at the look-out.
Then cruise back down, and maybe head on to the coast for the evenings events.
I would like this to be a big event, so everyone is welcome, and please suggest ideas so we can make it a great day for everyone.
Proposed date: Saturday July 10th or 17th.
Proposed Time: 10:30am
Proposed Meeting Venue: BP Blacksoil, on the Warrego Highway.
Please brain-storm on here, so we can negotiate openly

I proablly won't go but can say this DON"T SPEED UP THE TOOWOOMBA RANGE!! or thru Withcott the coppers are usally there

awwwwwww but the range is soooooooo much fun!!! i remember when i used to live in toowoomba i was reading the paper and a dude on a push bike got a traffic notice on his PUSH BIKE! for going to fast!!!

Sounds like a alright idea but maybe we can leave earlier say 9am and go to toowoomba. Then from there head out the back way to warrick and then back down the cunningham hwy or maybe theres another way to get to the coast from warrick???

I think your talking about Picnic Point? there would have to be another way from warwick to the coast. I think it would be a rather mountainest climb
