I would use 2TG plug (if going by the book), otherwise start with NGK BPR5EY.

They will do. BP6ES is a slightly colder plug and is probably more suited to wide open and high RPM use (I use BP7ES to BP9ES for my turbo application).

The P stand for projected nose - I believe that these are necessary for the 2TG, 3TG and 18RG.

The number = the heat range (with NGK the colder the plug, the higher the number)

An "R" after the heat range number denotes that is a resistance type plug.

S = normal electrode

Y = electrode has a vee cut in it (for apparently improved flame propagation)

Play with the different plugs until you find one that suits you.

NGK BPR6ES is what is in my Toyota T series engine manual.
you could "index" the plugs to. Aim the Eletrode opening towards the front of the engine on all 4 cyls. this will help at uppers revs as the spark is exposed to the A/F mixture better. hth.
