Well the time has come, im looking to sell my ride over the new year. I have owned it for the past 3-4 years and i dont wana know what it has owed me <_<
Everytime i get in i dont want to give it up so i thought i would create this to make the first step Razz

Pretty much all details can be found below


`89 Holden Nova SLX
20V Engine Conversion
2 1/4" Mandrel exhaust
Later model gearbox (C56 closer 3/4 gears)
New Exedy clutch
4 Wheel disc brakes
(Trueno Twin piston calipers and larger discs up front)
(SX discs on the rear)
16" BSA Cobra's
Custom lowered suspension
AE92 GTZ front shocks, new Boge's on the rear
Complete SX interior
(Door trims, dash cluster, rear seats. Front seats are out of the AE92 GTZ import)
Tinted windows
Alarm
SX front spoiler
SX rear wing
SX front swaybar
GTZ power steering
Air Conditioning
Rego till December 04

It will be sold with 11-12 months rego, about to install new ferodo brake pads all round plus have a few spares.

Its not really a holden if it doesn't have pushrods Very Happy

I used to have a partially rebadged Nova and hardly anybody recognised it as a nova... cept for the silver "Nova" printed on the bottom right of the rear window.

I'm in the throws of battle in deciding weither to get something like this and move out later or just move out soon (with gf pressuring me to do that now)... ARGH

i don't understand it hey? youve been trying to sell this car for ages. when i was looking for a gze (now got a sweet one) you offered me yours but there was something about it that made me not want to buy it.
looking at it now, it has far more mods than the standard gze conversion i bought for 9k. maybe its the 20V, i dont know.... but there must be a good reason why no one has purchased this car for over 4 months.

I had an EOI on it for a while and didnt push the sale but i have bought a new project and have to move this one, just hate people giving me rediculous prices on it for the amount of work that has gone in to it. Fair enough itsa nova and cars dont hold their value but for 6500-7000 look at it compared to other corollas for that. Atleast its away from the white and reds you see every day Razz

I have had 1 person come to look it from the tradingpost and they offered me 6500 and that was last week, i wanted to go as low as 7000 but it was only in the tradingpost for one day and though i could fetch a bit more.

Typical sellers thoughts to me.

oh yeah man i totally agree. there are far too many losers on this site that are just hopefuls driving their mums camry! they always say "man if i had the cash i would be all over it" and "if you still have it in a few months im there for sure!". they are all bullshit stuck working at pizza hut trying to pay off their phone bills, let alone ever saving enough to buy such a sweet ride as yours! TIMEWASTERS! Mad

definately anyone who could drive away with a 20V and some tasteful mods for under 8k is doing fu#%in well. dont waste this guys time with shit offers.... if you dont have the money dont bother!

Same thing happened selling my bros gze seca. Fucking timewasters. It was dirt cheap and the cunts still gave rediculous offers. Ended up taking a fucking shit offer because I was getting sick of dumbs cunts. EVERYONE EXPECTS SOMETHING FOR NOTHING.


Anyways. Yours is a nice car man, give it time and it will go to a good home. Just dont give up and sell it for nothing like we did.

I have a spare steering column piece that goes with the car in the garage atm if the buyer wants it...

dont worry about it man. the colour of the car should be the least of the buyers worries! it dont fuckin understand it what difference does the colour of the dash make!!! people should be interested in the condition of the engine and the body, colour can always be changed.

I bought my 20v sx seca for 5k.. Majour issues.. ecu. power steering. no gas in the aircon.

heres my free plug.

I first saw this car on the original go for broke cruise and I was damn impressed with how neat it was. You must put a lot of care and hardwork into your cars. I remember you zooming past me and i thought "shit what has that thing got in it?!" Thats when you showed us the 20valve thats in it and its such a clean conversion.

I used to drive the old white charade turbo with the grey bonnet. (i shouldve raced you that time at the mega cruise 2 when we pulled up side by side at the lights after leaving manly) Very Happy

I cant wait to see what you do to andy's old RA28

anyway guys this car has been very well kept and loved, he should be asking more than 7k. once you see it you'll realise why.

pretty much fixed most small problems with andys in which i was thinkn of puting a gen3 in but thinkn the gen1 will do for now. Shes gona get some panel work done during end of year but have to wait and see Cool
