AE86 cracked dash.

Since i can't find a new uncracked dash, i'm hoping to fix it.
Do you think it's possible to bog up the cracks, sand it down, and respray it??
Has anybody here done this?
Any help would be grateful.

Just get it re-stitched.

who does the recoving of the dashs in nsw,or is it just cheaper ot get a perfect uncracked one

I long ago decided my dash was beyond repair, so I priced up a new one at about $350 not including removing the old one and fitting the new one. Better things to spend the money on atm but it will be done.

mine was cracked when i got my 86 so i took it down to restore-a-dash at chipping norton and they reskinned it and painted it in anycolour i chose for $295 and it looks awesome, seems pricey but mine was fucked big time...

Is that removal and re-install as well. Im thinking not, but just too make sure.
