Hello Peoples,
I have been working on my lil ae86 for a while now and i have played around with the bars, skirts, grill, boo and bonnet. This is what i have came up with. Not happy with the rear bar yet will come up with a nice design soon. I want flares but i am going to japan in 2 weeks so i will just buy then. I will try an source crazy kits when im there. Anyways

Let me know what you think of my work, no matter if its good or bad. i want to know if people like it enough so that i can get moulds made?

Well here they are please tell me what you think.
Pictures are prity big about 180kb each so they take some time.

I will look for the add on lips when in jap. Don't know how much till i get them here and make a mould. Cheaper than everyone else though. Ill get lik 50 moulds done. Same with the side skirt. There the only ones that exist. I make them from another skirt. Won't be able to put a price on the skirts eaither till i get back from japan and do some homework on mould and find someone to do them for me cheap enough. I will let people know when i get them done. Just finding out what i will make moulds of!

Please let me know what you think of each item. Like on a scale from 1 to 10. 1 shit and 10 fully sick.

thanks

try to get some distanced pictures of the front bar...i can't really tell coz its so close... but i reckon it doesn't look half bad...

the grill? in red? doesn't work for me Laughing

the rear bar doesn't look that bad either... defently ad some flare to the rear end of sprinters!

love the wing too!

let me know how it all goes dude! just pm me once u know the price as i'll prolly defently take a pair of sideskirts and a front lip Smile

ok dont take this the wrong way

front bar- dont really like it at all
rear bar is pretty sweet (but PLEASE get rid of that NEON!)
side skirts are good (go the chunky style!)

one thing i could say is instead of making your kits go 'inwards' you should make it so it sticks outwards, like the side skirts should be more of an angle outwards;
like in this pic (the side skirts and rear bar on this car is F*^KING SWEET-and i can't stress that enough)

outwards inwards it doesn't matter, what most people don't realise is that a good bodykit is one which is moulded/designed to suit the lines of the car. Most manufacturers will redesign bars, skirts etc which take on a similar shape to the original items yet have been exaggerated such as making the kit lower or with wider openings and ventsand if you want to accentuate a certain theme e.g mean, wide n phat etc it shoudn't ruin the aesthetics of the car.

The front bar needs to be more aggressive, ie: lipped outwards, more angular lines etc. Just towards the bottom of it. The top looks alright.
The fog light spots are a good idea...

The grill I dont mind (if it was in black), saves people trying to find a good import one.

Skirts and rear wing have been done before...

im not that much of a fan of the front bar, but only for a couple small reasons. i think the light idea is good, and its good that u have used rectangle lights also, rounds ones wouldnt work Smile.

i think the front bar needs more flaring out at the bottom, same with the rear bar. i like the chunky skirts, might even get a set off u.

the pic 4saken posted i think is too chunky at the bottom, but thats just my opinion, and looks are always that.

its better... i guess im gonna have to wait to see what it looks like colored and smooth

still don't like the lights

may i also recommend fiddling with the little line hole that is in the middle of the indicator lights... making it taller and wider like the CBY lip...

definetely looks better, But I think the bar still lacks some attitude. Dont be soft in how far the bottom sticks out.
Even the stock OEM lip has a bit of an angle on it.

Look at the larger lips made by Ken Streeter if you can get a pic. If this style lip was incorporated with some fog lights and the AE82 corner lenses, you could be onto a winner.

Hey mate,

Great to see you're really tailoring your stuff to what ppl are actually wanting! Keep it up!

I'll take a set of those sideskirts when you start producing them.

Also, as Skaney said, I think you need to be more agressive with the lip on the front bar. It really should be close to being in line with the edge of the bumper if you know what I mean. you know, like a splitter, but not all crazy Sports-Sedan like or anything. I've tried to show what I mean in the pic.

I like the corolla indicators, really suits it. But I dont like the boxyness of the lower section, also I really dont like the foglight idea.

Would you be able to take a photo of the back spoiler from a distance, perhaps off the side a bit? I also think it would be better off without the hole, and instead perhaps a recess for a slimline plate, what do you think?

hey dude, i really admire your effort, and im interested in getting a rear bar from u, and i have some ideas

first off, i think the bar should be solid (no holes). i think that at the moment the part of the bar closest to the rear wheels looks like a mudflap has been grafted in. the ideas i have will help fatten the bar, and hide the mudflap look.

the black line is a rough place where the bar can be cut, to match the further back in the bar.

the white lines is sorta how i think u should fatten it. the lines are only in certain places, but i hope u get the idea.

sorry for my poor paint skills Confused

hope this helps

Any reason for the indicator change??

Also if your not putting the foggies back on.. Could reshape them, keep the square but put a funnell in them.. Could run brake ducts there or something like that. Or could be used as a cold air intake for the filer. eh just ideas.

YES....hope u all had tissues ready Razz

i think RedAe86 should just give the current designs the ass and just follow the design of the rear bar in the purple ae86 above. Who agrees? Skirts also.

here is a different variation in black - but the purple one is just perfect:

The Purple ae86 has the FUKING MADEST sideskirts ever made....and that rear bar is also real nice too.
I'm with AudioSlaver... i like the side skirts you made... but these skirts are insane!! Make the skirts you made "Type 1" and then make these skirts...."Type 2"....to make very one happy. Very Happy You should also copy the design of the purple ae86 rear bar... that shit is nice man.
AudioSlaver... do you know who makes these skirts? (on the purple ae86). I want'em!

my vote: purple

reasons are it is much fuller, fatter, plump if u will Smile

i like the white one also, i just think the purple one has more body to it. i think the purple sideskirts are too boxy also. in a way i dont think they suit the rear bar all that well, the bar is smooth, the skirts sharp.

Red, even if the rear bar u make is not as plump as the purple one, just make it a little fuller than the white one at least.

As for the air intake, i think its better to have it on one side only, the RH side. having two is like having twin mufflers - ghey Wink

good work man keep at it! Cool

Purple!

I think its a bit toned down making it a lot more tastefull!

i like the white one, but i'd buy a purple one Smile
