Problem with Radiator.... :( Fri, 18 June 2004 03:38 Go to next message
hey,
I've got a 1986 celica sx...
I came home today after driving my car and found that there was like NO coolant in the resovour, and I found there to be tiny little bubbles coming from the very top of the radiator, about 10 cms to the left of the cap.... I wiped the area thinking it could have been water, but it did it again....

Hopefully its nothing too big..
What do u think could be the reason and possibly a solution

Regards
Adrian!

I think a guy I knew had this problem, he installed a diff under the rear and it fixed all his problems. Rolling Eyes

tank is probably cracked/stress fractured, a new tank costs ferk all so take it to a radiator joint and they'll replace it for ya.

haha very funny Hiro... Razz

yeah, small crack in your top tank.. no biggie.. just make sure it doesn't get real bad

I have had a very very slowly weeping crack in the top since I have had the car I think... I might loose 10ml very 2 months or something.. you can just see the discolouration
