Hey all,
I'm planning on buying an XBox. What's a good price these days?
I have no idea 'coz I don't really pay attention to consoles.
Also, anyone know a good person to get it chipped?

When I got mine, I got 'Teh Beast' pack. it was about $300 and came with 2 games, dvd remote and dongle and extra controller. I got mine chipped and a 80GB HDD put in so I can rent games and save them onto it, but the dude doesn't do it anymore. There's a place at Liverpool that does em. I'll try to find out where and PM you.

Try and save up and get urself a bigger Hard drive in the xbox when u do buy it. U can store heaps of games and movies etc on the hard drive, and network it to your pc and transfer shit that way. ive seen xbox consoles that come with dvd remote and a games for around $280, try kmart, or eb games.

a friend of mine chips xbox's in brisbane
he's done about 10 so far with no problems and has another 5 lined up after his exams are finished
down your way, no idea
oh and he also has a policy, if he fucks up your xbox whilst chipping it, you get his as a replacement

Bought one last night from EB. 
$224 or so. Also bought an extra Logitech controller (25% off) and Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance (also 25% off).
All up about $280 or so.
Yay!
Now, I just have to buy a HDD and chip it.
