hehe shuddup mofo
i've had alot of interpretations from various people, about 80% think it's 'DRIFT ME' while 20% see it as 'DRIFT TIME'... funny though, always brings a grin to the face when read
But initially when i was choosing them, i wanted the effect of 'DRIFT ME' but later i realised there was a hidden variation, and thats why i chose them cuz of the ambiguity

Hehehe... whoops -- the track's THAT way!! (bearing the point of the finger).
I too have custom plates on my ride, but I ain't rich either. I love the individuality of customising a ride in every possible way, so much so that I see it as an extension of yourself. But for the price of renewing rego (esp. here in NSW), one has to wonder is it really worth THAT MUCH for customisation.
Mine also came with a hidden meaning, which a lot of people still get confused to this day... "ULTRAV" can be said in about three variations - 1. ULTimate RAV4 (the original purpose behind my plate choice), 2. ULTRA Violet (my ulterior motive for these plates, as I plan to get the interior done to reflect this), and 3. ULTRA-RAV - the one almost EVERYONE says out loud to start with, meaning about 90% of people don't think the way I do. Very few people actually catch onto the real meaning of my plates, which I intend on using for car shows and such.
Des, fantastic looking ride. Next time you see Robotic Automation (or RA) at the top of the South St. T-intersection, look for "TEC" to the left of that complex... I'll be in there somewhere.
Cheers.
PS: Bomex are a bunch of tossers, which I came to find out from first-hand experience.

Legend dude
yeah when i first saw some threads about your car and plates - i thought 'what a smart plate to have' cuz there were so many ways in which even i could interprate in just one look. That's what i love about plates - especially the ones that are well thought out.
-I personally like plates which first of all have something to do with the car - cuz this shows a connection and you know the owner is respecting it.
-Has humour or pun, playing on words or just plain smart and make u smirk
-Plain and effective, no need for shit like 'UOMESX' or '4U2ENV' .....i hate that shit the most!!!
Yeah haha im not sure what my mate was doing pointing in that direction, but i wasn't paying attention as i was trying to steer the baby straight and not sideeeeways on the dirt
Bomex?

LOL i was trying to work it out when i saw it.....i thought it meant 'Big Twin Turbo For U' .......
I'm gonna push to get the car fixed by Monday, cuz i need it for work etc. I just need to get the ignition barrel fixed first, and i have some piping at home which i can fabricate temporarily until i get to the exhaust shop.
Then next step is a major motherf*^king security upgrade....i'm talking welded seam creases on doors , perspex around gaps, shaved locks, trick bonnet latch, 3 point immobilised with quicktrak to mobile X 4 friends' phones. Kill switch and drilled screws/allen keys.
i dare em to try again...

Did you have a stroke of bad luck Des? I had my car broken into while it was parked in it's garage... and about $800 worth of front brakes conversion went bye-bye, as well as everything else that was loose in the car (even the jack and the factory toolkit). That's desperation...
