mx83 struts/ zv22 similarities? Sun, 20 June 2004 07:08 Go to next message
Hi guys

i was at a wreckers today, where they told me they had a "FEW' mx83s around..and struts were $25 each...so along i go to discover they are all Camrys!

There was however a later model camry...the one after sv21 - zv22 or something? their strut looks very similar to an mx83, and also has twin pot calipers...can anyone confirm these are similar/ the same? I wouldnt mind getting the calipers off them thats all...

im guessing sv21 camry ones are completely different to mx83 mounting points for brakes etc wise???

note: its only the brakes mounting points similarities im wanting to query - sorry for not clarifying this!

FWD cars have very different front end geometry than RWD cars (eg zero scrub radius). Using FWD struts is going to do screwy things to your car.

i wanted to know if theyd bolt on to the cressida struts.
