 At last.....

My first post in a while and I thought that it should be a good one.
Well on the weekend I finally got engaged! Yes finally. Only been thinking about it for the last 5 months.  Mel, I suppose you want all the details so here they are.
Took my g/f out for her birthday dinner (it's her birthday next week). I chartered a 31ft yacht for the evening and so we sailed around Sydney harbour. We then anchored in a bay around Bradley's Head and had dinner. I did the deed there and they we sailed on back. Needless to say we are both a little bit happy.  There you go Mel, especially for you.

BTW. The meet today was great, just a pity we couldnt go on up to the pizza place.

Yeah, tell me about it.
She wanted a photo and so I had to go figure out how to use the self timer. I figured that out in about the first 5 secs and then spent the next 5 minutes "figuring" it out.
I dont know why its the guy who always askes. Tradition I guess.

Congrats dude,
I got engaged in Feb (yes Valentines Day) and have just got married  ! We bought a house a month after getting engaged so there was no point waiting around being engaged for a year then getting married. Organising a wedding is uber-stressful though.
Still remember the engagement day though - she just looked at the ring (with the shiny rock on it) and was so excited she forgot to say yes!!  .

Like I did........ .
But hey, I had a great honeymoon and can now buy all the new whitegoods we need when we move into our house plus pay for some renovation work. Sometimes things change, and we must change with them. 
And the new Falcon company is just as good, no really it's great, so much more practical, and you know they're pretty quick for a family car............. Oh who am I kidding - I miss my Supra
