it's all "close enough"

maybe has a larger dia. bolt/nut, that's it.

Are both the AE82 & AE92 struts the same length? Is the captive length of the spring similar? Am using AE82 ones in my AE82 at the moment but it's hard to get an insert "off the shelf" to fit them and modifying inserts to fit them is a pain, but AE92 inserts can still be sourced easily.

anyone else had a go at it?
finding a good set of adjustable shocks is near impossible for an AE82,
