Up here in Newcastle the other day the local Toyota dealer had an new avalon that they are marketing to the taxi industry so i went to have a look as i thought i might update from the old el falcon a bit early.Boy was i wrong a bout that.
They have the right idea with vinyl seats, rubber floor mats instead of carpet, factory lpg and ready to fit out with the taxi stuff but getting into it a bit more and they don't offer any goddies such as spoiler, alloys, driving lights and no criuse control. But the biggest killer was that there is no wagon model avalible, not even in the camry.
Not a good thing having no wagon avalible as there isn't much room in the boot with the gas tank in there.

Thats my winge bout Toyota,if they had a wagon the i would have bought one for sure.Oh well another 10 months then its time for an AU3 wagon or an Avalon if they have a wagon buy then.
