Fully Boosting Van... Wed, 23 June 2004 12:28 Go to next message
I nearly creamed my pants when I saw this van on Tuesday night...
I think it was a Hi-Ace... but I was just walking past the Towers and I heard some one givin it a boot, heard the turbo spool...turned around to see a van coming through the lights nice quick shift...shift *Pshhhht* blow off valve did its shit and then the wheels started spinning (this isnt from a still start...he was already moving, the spinning started in like 3rd gear) and then it boosted off up the road towards Glenhaven.
Has anyone else seen this van? It was nothing special to the look, but it sounded and went fu**en awesome!
Cheers.

bah you beat me to it old_mr2, i saw it on the weekend. it was hell funny, driving up next to a hiace and hearing a rotor Laughing

that mitsubishi had some great photos going around a while ago if its the one i'm thinking of, wheelstands with pvc pipes on the roiofracks. he took them off aswell as the stock hubcaps in order to shave time off.

there was a 13bt hiace and WSID once, carcked into the 14 second bracket after many passes.
theres also a few sr20det hiaces getting round aswell, apparently a relatively easy swap.
