I just bought myself a multimeter.

I am a little confused as to the use of the "dwell angle" function...
Can anybody shed some light?

Thanks

connect to either side of points - indicates the duration which they are closed for (e.g. the degrees of cam rotation)
i probably wont work on electronic points as the ingitor or the ECU does the dwell function (usually the time needed to charge the capacitor in a kettering ingition)
www.howthingswork.com or www.google.com
search for kettering ignition or automotive ignition or dwell angle auto
