2T Engine Manual on CD Thu, 24 June 2004 10:07 Go to next message
Hi,

A few weeks ago I scanned the entire Toyota Workshop Manual for the 2T engine, including the 2TG.

This is the big hardcover "Tractor Works" manual that was printed in Australia for Toyota.

Anyway, it's got all the info you need in regards to water pump, start, ignition, charging system, cyl head service, fly wheel, blah blah blah. It's also got all the specs and tolerances and many pictures and diagrams.

It's 518M so it will fit on a CD. I already sent a copy to a guy in Singapore, who is rebuilding a 2TG.

The manual also includes all the ins and outs of the TA22 and the Carina. This includes the gearbox, diffs, suspension, circuit diagrams blah blah blah. If you want me to scan some of this extra stuff then let me know and I'll see what I can do - but all this scanning takes time.

If you want the 2T engine stuff, then bring a blank CD to the next meeting and I'll burn it for you.

Cool This is just what I've been looking for. I was wondering how long it would be before manuals get digital. Just a question what format are the pages in? pdf, bmp, jpg?

I'll be willing to even give you some coin for your time.

Hopefully they might be in PDF format, which would be nice!

I'd be happy to pay a little for it too, River..
