Hi Hopefully someone can shead some light on this for me.
I have finished working up my block which is now 2.2l with rebuilt bottom end with .25mm o/s bearings. Now i'm starting on my head i already have 320/304 cams to go in but how much porting and what else should the head have done to it (keeping in mind i'm looking for max streetable horse power.
Any help much appreciated
Shaun

AHHHHHH sorry my bad its an 18rgeu but brought back to carby (due to lack of efi bits and pieces). I have purchased twin 45mm Webbers for it and Toysport race headers with a 2/12" exhaust. I no yOu can get o/s intake and exhaust valves from toysport are these a worthy purchase? With porting how far do you go with the ports or do leave that completly up to the workshop doing it. The cams are 320/304 cams with 10.5mm lift. Hope that can help you shead some more light for me

you need to get a professional to put it on a flow bench, otherwise you'll get nowhere if you do it yourself, unless you have a flowbench! it probly won't need it anyway, you'd be paying lots of money for a small power gain. you could polish the ports yourself though.

if you don't have a flowbench, you'll have unequal ports, they will flow differently. this will make the engine run like shit.

A little over generalized I think.
